Together, Rich and Cher Pearson run The Shockwave Therapy Clinic UK. We are highly trained experienced professionals in the MSK world, with over 25 years of combined experience.
In the last few years - we have developed into a very well recognised clinic for specialising in the healing of pains and injuries, with not only the general public but also with elite professional athletes.
The addition of our Storz Focused Shockwave machine has elevated our clinic to another level in healing most ailments from tendinopathies through to complexed bone conditions like Osteoarthritis and even Men's pelvic health issues .
We have two Radial machines and also a top of the range Focused Shockwave machine. The same as used by professional Premier League Football and Rugby Union teams.

Rich's journey as a therapist started way back in 2005 and in August 2022 after many years of successfully helping people with MSK pains and injuries it was time to diversify and branch out into becoming a Shockwave practitioner to learn tendonitis shockwave treatment.
Cher and Rich both went for professional Shockwave training with Venn Healthcare - who are the leading shockwave distributers in the UK market. We got our first machine in August 2022 and haven't looked back since.

Rich Pearson
In 2008 after completing my degree with First-Class honours, I started my own clinic - E4 Body Clinic in Highams Park. I continued to also work alongside some of the leading doctors at the Academy of Oriental Medicine to gain extra knowledge and then went to Beijing in 2007 to gain a more in-depth skill of acupuncture. It was on my return from China that I decided to start my own clinic in Highams Park.

I had a major career change in 2020, where I went from being a primary school teacher of 12 years to becoming a qualified sports therapist. I then went on to studying Acupuncture and Cupping therapy, and very quickly started building a very busy clinic with regular patients.
From there I decided to study Shockwave Therapy with Rich at Venn Healthcare to further my knowledge and to be able to offer a bigger variety of therapies, such as tendonitis shockwave treatment therapy and diversifying into the aesthetic world by adding Cosmetic Acupuncture and Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT) to my skillset. This a natural alternative to anti-ageing has been refreshing and my hope is that there is a move away from the more drastic unnatural and invasive cosmetic trends.
